Hey Steve,

What have you done to get your fuel rail covers to look that way? Did you replace them with different ones or do something to the ones that came with your car?

I think they look great!

Ted,

Thanks for the kind words. I painted those myself. Actually, I purchased a set of used ones here on the forum so that I could retain my stock ones just in case the paint job turned out nasty. As it is, now I have my old stock ones which look completely boring as compared to the Pewter ones! So, I might paint the second set a different color for the fun of it. I also have another vette-owning friend, who is not   on the Forum, and he might be getting some of my paint work on them for his birthday.

Anyhow, as to the rest of your questions, you can see more pictures and my entire procedure at this link: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=226798.

Also, I currently am trying to raise money for little Natalie, if you've seen that thread, and I am doing so by painting covers for others if they will send me the covers and donate money to Natalie (i.e., I am not getting money for it). That thread is at: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=231661.

By the way, if your source is right, a set of new clean covers can be had for about $45.

Regards, Steve.
