Default Need rubber gromets for Shift assembly

I am looking for the rubber grommets that hold the shift assemble. I was told I need to order the entire assembly. Does anyone know where I could buy these grommets ?

Thanks

I can tell you the isolator grommet is part number 7054021. The only way that I know you can get them is with a new complete shifter.

If you have the rubber ones, I would just have some solid ones made locally, like the ones that come on the Z06 shifter base.

The Z06 inserts are solid metal, with no rubber bushings, so the shifter mounts solid. You could just make some inserts so the shifter base bolts up solid like the Z06.
There are pictures of the shifter base in this...

Thanks TEXHAWK0. I'll try making them. If not, I'll call the junk yard for an old ZO6.

Since the solid insert still has a slotted hole, I am not sure why it is needed. You might just use the right sized washer on top so that the bolt head tightens on a steel surface instead of the aluminum casting. It may also serve as a sleeve over the bolt so the bolt fits tighter in the slot. In this case, you could also just slide a short sleeve over the bolt to take the slop out of the hole.
