instructions say to put it in teh hose that connects to the radiator but the hose kinda dips down and then goes up into the connection at teh radiator like a "U" shape so im thinkin this wouldnt work.
Put it in the reservoir, it's going to go all the way through the cooling system.

I used Bar-Leaks in my Chevy truck and swear by the stuff. This is what I did.....
1. Put a drain pan under my radiator and drained about 3 quarts of coolant. This will alow the fluid to get out of your upper radiator hose.

2. Put the UNOPENED container of Bar-Leaks into a bucket of the hottest water you can find, this dissolves most of the pellets that are in the bottom of the container.

3. Disconnect the upper radiator hose from the radiator.

4. Pour in the contents of the container.

5. Reconnect hose.

6. Re-use the fluid you drained in step 1 to fill your system to the correct level.

7. Go for a 15-20 minute ride.

8. Check system again for level.

I had a friend of mine who had a Saab 900 and he had to do this every 9 months or so. This stuff works great.
