Need help, Changing my diff...

Hello everyone...
I plan in the next few weeks changing my rear end unit, Taking out my 3.15 unit and installing a 3.42 unit.
Does anyone know of a write-up on this, I have done a lot of work on cars in the past, But I have never worked on the Vette to this extent, I am sure it is something I can do, But would like some pointers..

3:15 to 3:42...

If you're changing for a performance boost, you'll never feel the difference.

I agree. I recently changed my Z's 3:42 to a 3:90, and didn't make that much of a seat of the pants difference. If I would have jumped up to say 4:10, I'm sure I would have been able to feel the difference. Just from looking up previous posts, in regards to diff. change outs, I was able to do my own work, by myself. Good luck.
