I can tell you what the code technically reads as, but not exactly would have caused the code itself.
P1416H...Secondary Air Injection(air system bank II)
U1016H...Loss of Communication with PCM
U1096H...Loss of Commuincation with IPC
U106UH...??? Was this U1064H...? If so...Loss of Communication with BCM.
All are H codes as is 'History' and can be cleared. Nothing serious.

Will clearing the codes shut off the check engine light? Because when the car was shut off and then restarted, the check engine light stayed on.

That is the serious one.
Do a search on "cleaning AIR Check Valve."
I read something about that in another thread when searching for information, but since the code is a "H" code, is it currently serious?
His vette still runs well. He's driven it to and from work the past two days.

There are two kinds of DTCs, "Current" and "History," designated with a letter suffix, "C" or "H". A current code indicates that the malfunction is present in the system whose module is displaying data. A history code indicates a problem existed in that module sometime in the last 40 or 50 ignition cycles. When not accompanied by a current code of the same number, it is possible it's evidence of a previous problem, now solved, that was not removed by clearing codes. More likely is that a history code indicates an intermittent malfunction. "Intermittents" are the most challenging DTCs. An intermittent may have happened only once, may have happened more than once but is inconsistent in its appearance or may be happening on a regular basis but not at the time the IPC is displaying codes. History codes can also be caused by a current malfunction in a system that is not operating at the time DTCs are displayed.
Clearing H codes will eliminate the Check Engine Light until it happens again. A C code is of the serious kind.

Thank You For The Information.
I just cleared the codes and the check engine light went off.
We'll see what happens. I gues this means if the check engine light comes on again, I can pull the codes and whatever code comes up is the issue.
