2002 A4 trans case redesign?

Now's i've posted about this before but noone has answered the call. Is this the transmission pan or the cooler inside the radiator? I'm ALWAYS looking for ways to keep my transmission cool and i'm due for a trans filter change.......would be nice to change the pan out if thats whats different!

I believe it's the cooler inside the radiator but hopefully someone more knowledgeable will pipe in :D
