Default 1998 Coupe no interior lights

I do not have any interior lights. Nothing in the footwells or in the rear cargo area. Map lights and glove box are fine.

I got into the passenger side footwell fusebox and the owners manuel says slot 42 is a micro-relay for courtesy lights - i assume that's my interior lights as nothing else even sounds similar. I replaced the micro-relay and still nothing. So I did another test - removed the microrelay for my hatch release - slot 39 and put that micro into slot 42 - still nothing, took my old micro into the now empty slot 39 and get my hatch release back again - so this is not about the micro relays.

Is there another fuse or relay that supports interior lights?? What am I missing?? Headlights, taillights, underhood, high beam, lowbeam, fog lights - everything works.

So if I am reading this right - fuse slot 29 feeds to fuse slot 42 - which is the microrelay I was talking about. Possibly that fuse is gone.

Do you know if this is the footwell fuse box slot 29 or the engine bay fusebox slot 29???

Thank you.

I'm pretty sure it's in the footwell... I blew mine a few times playing with some maplight LEDs about 3 years ago.

Thank you very much - that was exactly the answer - slot 29 in footwell fusebox and my interior lights back again.
