abs/traction control disabling here are the codes:
C1225H - RFexcessive wheel speed variation
C1232H - LFwheel speed circuit open or shorted
So, what do I do next? I'm going to have a mechanic do some trouble shooting, before I order the 2 front wheel hub assemblies from autozone....does anyone have any thoughts on what could be causing this?

Check the female pins each end of the wheel harnesses. They get squashed and then make poor contact with the male pins.
by the way C1225 is LF most DTC lists get it wrong.
I agree that both codes indicate a left front wheel sensor problem. You may be wasting money replacing the wheel bearing just because you have those two codes. There are other possibilities that should be checked before you replace parts. What year car do you have? It can make a difference. Do you have Active Handling? I assume you don't because you don't mention getting a Service Active Handling message.
If the mechanic doesn't have a Tech II or similar high priced diagnostic tool you can do just as well troubleshooting the problem as he can.

So C1225H is not the right front but the left? I will have my mechanic check all the connections.. thanks for the replies
the car is a 2000 and it does not have active handling....
also 3 weeks ago I took it to Vette doctors for a oil cooler install and brake bleed IN THE POURING RAIN...could it be that there is water or moisture causing the problem? and the car was out in the rain sitting while waiting to be worked on during all the rain we had in NY(and are still having)
I usually do not drive it in the rain by choice because of this issue happening...all these sensors dont like rain Im hoping that when the moisture dries up maybe it will solve the problem....
I would have your mechanic clean up all the connections - it is a matter of a few minutes for each one. If you then coat them in di-electric grease that will keep water out, and you can happily drive in the rain to your hearts content...

I will have them do that... Im hoping that is the problem and not the whole wheel hub assembly..
Has anyone here road raced their car with no ABS? (ABS disabled) I shut the traction control off when I road race.. but havent had the experience of racing it with no ABS.. although I'm sure it would be fine if you brake smooth I rarely activate the ABS on track( or maybe I do and havent noticed it)
Well I had the sensors and connections checked...everything is as clean as a whistle, and nothing wrong with the wires...so I ordered a wheel hub assembly from rockauto hope that clears the problem
I threw both those code today. I got caught in heavy pouring rain myself today and went through some standing water that was a bit deaper than I thought. Drove down the road about 1/4 mile and both the ABS and Traction Control came up. Just got back from driving it over lunch and everything was OK. Would running through deeper than normal water cause this?
