A/C Drain Tube...
i know this has been covered a lot, but i did my research and fixed my leaky passenger foot well problem. but when i pulled the tube off the firewall it fell down and now i cant find it. but a ton of water did start pouring out, so thats a good thing. my question is, can i drive without that draintube, or is it imperitive that i put it back in. thanks. I did the same thing and have been testing without the tube. What I have found is at idle and around the neighborhood no leak but at highway speed the water blows back and leaks. I am going to replace the tube with something this weekend and drive more to see if it leaks before I replace the carpet. I will post the results.

thanks for the info man. i will just go buy another drain tube at the stealership tomorrow. and my damn column lock messed up today so now i cant drive it anyway. so i gotta buy a clb tomorrow as well and get that beauty back up and running. thanks again bud.

Keep the tube on.
The tube is a one way valve that keeps engine fumes and heat out of the passenger compartment. With the AC running it will suck air through the hole and out the AC vents. seeya
