Chemtool

Thanks
I have a can that is several years old, and it still states that it can be used to clean fuel injectors. Materials may have changed, but I would think it would still be alright.
However, I have used the full strength cleaner to clean carburetor parts and it was really strong, and would actually dissolve aluminum if you were too aggressive with it. You could soak parts with no problem, but if you brushed or agitated the parts, you could see some erosion.

From Berryman FAQ website.....
Q. I have used B-12 Chemtool for years in my carburated vehicles and wonder if it will work as well in my fuel injected car?
A. Yes. The B-12 Chemtool was formulated to break down fuel deposits in the fuel tank. By ridding the fuel tank of gum and varnish, the passage of these impurities to the fuel injector and combustion chamber has been greatly reduced. It is these impurities that build up around the injector pintle that inhibit proper fuel flow and contribute to performance problems.
