Okay,99 FRC 6 speed pull key wait 10 sec, service column lock ,car starts but stalls with in a foot of moving forward.I read the entire thread at the top,but here is my question.I do not have the wheel locking ,because there is not pin there.IF I install CLB do I need to have the BCM reprogramed from the dealership or a tuner. Please help all infor is important
I assume that you (or a previous owner) had a recall performed, and now the K-harness relay has probably gone bad.
IF this is the case, you can remove the K-harness and install the CLB and it will probably fix it.
Some early C5s don't respond to the CLB, but my 1998 worked fine.
Do I still have to reprogram and where is this K harness located. If it above the BCM that would explain the relay going bad, because my AC leak this weekend.Drain plug was clog.
Can I put a jumper wire from pin #30 to pin# 87 in the column lock relay.I have relay apart and i see the numbering sequence for the orange and white wire.Do I plug relay back in .???????
