Column lock question

Default Column lock question

Okay,99 FRC 6 speed pull key wait 10 sec,service column lock ,car starts but stalls with in a foot of moving forward.I read the entire thread at the top,but here is my question.I do not have the wheel locking ,because there is not pin there.IF I install CLB do I need to have the BCM reprogramed from the dealership or a tuner.Please help all infor is important

I assume that you (or a previous owner) had a recall performed, and now the K-harness relay has probably gone bad.

IF this is the case, you can remove the K-harness and install the CLB and it will probably fix it.

Some early C5s don't respond to the CLB, but my 1998 worked fine.

Do I still have to reprogram and where is this K harness located.If it above the BCM that would explain the relay going bad,because my AC leak this weekend.Drain plug was clog.

You have to reprogram the 2mph security limit. Your still getting nailed by the security fix when they removed the locking plate.

Default jumper wire in relay

Can I put a jumper wire from pin #30 to pin# 87 in the column lock relay.I have relay apart and i see the numbering sequence for the orange and white wire.Do I plug relay back in .???????

The relay under the passenger side just above the BCM.If I put jumper wire in the relay,will it get rid of the fuel shutoff.
