I am planing to purchase the front and rear stabalizer kit from Ken Fitchner.Which stabalizer kit is better for an every day driver on the streets? The z51 or the Z06 are the same price, but Ineed some quidance which will perform better on my 99 Vette Coupe. Thanks to all who respond. :chevy :chevy :flag :chevy :chevy
I have factory installed Z51 suspension on the vette and it's a very comfortable ride around town and holds tight around corners. I can't speak for the Z06 setup but if you drive your vette hard, get the Z06 setup.
I have the Z51 in my car and find that it handles well and still makes for a comfortable ride. I can't speak for the Z06 parts but I have not heard anyone complain about their ride comfort. I think you are just changing the bars and not the springs so the ride itself should not be too different IMO. If you are changing and the price is the same, I would probably just go for the Z06 kit.
I went with the Z-51 and the metal links front and rear. The Z06 was not out at that time and the Z51 bars were a performance option in 00. I have the F-45 option and they work great. The bars are much heavier (thicker) than stock, I bet the two bars are similiar.
Ken just shipped my ZO6 sway bars so they should be here any
day now. He said the rear bars are the same as the Z51, but the
the ZO6 front bar is a little heavier.
