I own a 2000 coupe, automatic. I just purchased a Blackwing Flo Pac and it was suggested I have the car dyno tuned. Any experience you could share would be appreciated. Anyone with knowledge of tuning in the Twin City area?
I have been told that the Blackwing will add about 18 to 22 hp and dyno tune would add about 50.
Can anyone substantiate those claims>
Thanks and I look forward to replies.
Rich
We are in Buffalo, MN. Eagan is a bit of a drive, but not too bad. We are 21 miles away from 494 and 55, to the west.
Please note there isn't a chance in the world that your car will pick up 18 to 22 with a blackwing and 50 with a dyno tune. 16-20 horsepower with the blackwing and dyno tune together is what we normally see.
Like I have said before, if you added up all the claimed horsepower you would have a 1000 horsepower bolt on car, all from your summit or jegs catalog.

So Randy, does this mean I really did not get a 10-20 hp increase from the performance hood seal?
OP - Randy and DRM are the only way to go - just look for the white fence...

We are no-longer working out of the ranch. We are in a commercial building in Buffalo, which has it's ups and down's. I painted that damn fench once, 52 gallons of paint and two days of sore arms and back.
