SCM issues

Hey Guys - I got a new SCM for my driver side seat. (2001 Z06). When I put the new SCM in I get a A6 - No Comm error, but the seat functionality is working. Any ideas?

ttt - do you think it could be because I put a non-memory SCM into a car that has memory?

Most likely that is the case. The BCM is trying to talk to it and its not responding.
