Since I removed the cats, my car has been running super rich. The other night I was told by a couple of other C5 owners that if I turned my MAF backwards, it help lean things out. Is there any truth to this?
Thanks,
Re: Turning MAF backwards to lean out mixture? (BLOWNGS)
You can use a MAF Translator to lean the mixture -- adjustments on WOT are from 2% to 14% lean in two % increments. Hope this helps. :D
Another point, if you have done nothing to trick the computer (O2 Sensors) you are most likely getting a false reading now, since you have no converters -- most buy a plug that hooks into the rear O2 sensors to send a false signal to the computer.

I have O2 sims, so that's not a issue. As for buying a MAF T, I'm going to have some work done in the next month or so, and the car will be tuned then, I'm just looking for a quick fix for the time being.
