Default Help!! ZF6 or a T56

I am looking to install one of these into a C1 corvette and wanted to know what the difference is between the two and if one happens to be better than the other.

Thanks for the help guys.

The T56 will be a superior and cheaper option, as far more of them were produced and parts are readily available.

Try to get a t56 out a Camaro or Trans Am.

I will have a bellhousing and tailhousing unlike the Corvette's transaxle setup. It would make a better starting point.

If you're making enough power to justify it, T-56 Magnum is the way to go. Right out of the box, will tons more power than standard T-56. Bigger gears, shafts and bearings and made of better materials.

In the C5 and 6's, new Vipers, GT500's, it's called the T6060.
