GM used the same shaft size for years in almost every vehicle.. If you dont have a telescopic column almost all the gm hub adapters are interchangable. If you go to sparcos website they have it listed. Look it up and they will list gm telescopic or non. The sparco part no. is 01502099
I have the same question. I am replacing the steering wheel in my C5 Z with a smaller aftermarket wheel and I am given two options for the "quick-release" hub -- either a 5/8" or a 3/4". I looked at the Sparco page that was suggested in the previous reply but it only had the part # for a GM setup. It didn't state the size of the upper steering shaft. I am buying a brand different that Sparco and I am setting it up with a quick-release so the Sparco # doesn't help.
Does anyone know if I need a 5/8" hub or a 3/4" hub to mate with the C5 upper steering shaft? Thanks in advance....I've looked but couldn't find this info. Since I haven't ordered the parts yet, I haven't pulled my steering wheel; otherwise, I'd just go and measure it.
