I loosen the hose clamp at the throttle body end, relase the two bungee cords holding th etop to the bottom , then remove the whole top of the unit to the throttle body

Helped a friend clean his today. It looked like the inside of an old shop vac when we took it apart, just plain filthy. I will damn sure take mine apart and clean it tomorrow after seeing his today.
