Can anyone answer this question?
When replacing an O2 sensor should I use anti seize compound on the threads?
The service manual only says not to use a cleaning solvent and to keep them contaminate free.
Thanks mrgil

What service manual are you speaking to? It specifically states to use a special anti-seize compound on the sensor threads. Additionally, it also states the new sensors already have the compound on the threads(GM I suspect...others may be different)

The GM service manual, but I never got past the Cautions in Vol #1
I'm reading the R&R procedure now and I see that you are correct thanks for pointing that out.
Should I also use the GM anti-seize on the spark plug threads when I change the plugs??
