Mag Red Paint Code...
Can anyone tell me what the paint code is for a Mag Red 2? My car is in storage so I cant look for myself and I need to let my painter know so he can paint some engine items for me.

So I guess the MY in MY2KC5 doesn't stand for Millennnium Yellow, which has a paint code of 423G.
Paint codes are found on the RPO tag in the glove box, bottom line in the middle, 3 numbers followed by a letter.
Some one with a Mag Red C5 go out to the garage and help out MR2KC5...opps I mean MY2KC5.

That is pretty sad that after no one can tell me the paint code? Does this mean there is no one in all those people who have looked at this question has a MAg Red 2 car? I hope thats the only reason and that its not that people are just too lazy to help someone out.

Guess I was not wrong about this place...it is sad that no one could help me and that I had to go get my car out of storage to look at it myself. Seventy something people looked at this and no one could go look at thier car to help me out. I remember now why I got my car and that it for me and not to be a part of a stuck up crowd. You know after all the posts I have done on this place I can say that only a couple have been replied to with actual help while when ever I find some one I can help I always reply. Why is that...I guess its because there is only a few good people on here who are not here for themselves. Am I bitter, yep I am. Thats okay though because I will keep answering questions or topics as often as I can and try and help out those who need it!! I do hope you all have a great day...I know I will.

Ah but that is not the actual paint code silly, you see it is a four digit number located after the WA in the long list of numbers you will find in a few different places on the car. We all know our order code number for the car from the factory but that is just a dealer number and not a paint code number.

It's funny how sometimes you ask a question and get the answer in five minutes and other times your post disapears into the sea of other post never to be found again. Don't forget, only about 10% of the cars built per year are mag red, so it is relatively a small number of people who actually could of helped you. I wish I would have seen this post sooner so I could have helped you out then. Glad it worked out.
