Check the connectors in the door hinge area (in the rubber accordion). The rubber accordion easily dislodges. Loosen it and take the connectors apart and PROPERLY inspect that each terminal within the connector is tight and free of corrosion.
Look for any exposed wires at the terminals. I don’t think that is your specific problem at this time, but if you find any you should coat the bare wire(s) with liquid electrical tape and maybe regular electrical tape over that.
It is always good to check the related grounds with ANY electrical trouble. (Finding all the grounds & "ground packs", coating the inside with anti-corrosive compond is ALWAYS a good idea to head off future troubles)
