Drivers seat movement??

Drivers seat movement??
I did a search in the forum but didn't see anything directly releted. I have an 01 vert and the driver seat moves forward and back a bit when I take off and stop. Is this common and does anyone know what usually has failed to cause this? I'm going to pull the seat out and look for worn parts or weak motor if I don't get any good advise.... thx in advance..

Yes, it's common. The rubber isolators compress and what you are experiencing is the play. Check this out:

Not terribly challenging technically to fix, but a lot of screwing around. Worth it though. I did both my seats in a day.
