A few folks' that have called the office have asked the same questions, so I thought I'd post the answers here for others too...

1. When we ship a built differential from our facility, we fully insure the package for the total amount of the completed product (typically $2000+) as a worse-case total loss scenario; just in case the shipper loses or catastrophically damages the product beyond use. While this method costs a bit more to ship from here, it absolutely ensures our customers get their new differential in 100% undamaged condition and if not, it's covered so they can get a new one right away as a replacement. We've used this method for 6+ years with outstanding success! The customer however, does not have to insure their core return for the same amount as the outgoing shipment, therefore. the core return shipping costs for the customer are usually less than $45 or so, depending on where you are. Just insure your core return for the core dollar amount and you'll be good.

2. To make it easier to ship the core back to us, you may use the HD packaging we used when we sent you your built differential, just make sure the core is fully drained of oil and the box is taped up or stapled shut well.

Hopefully that helps gents, thank you for the orders thus far and have a great weekend!

Regards,
Phil

I'm in need of a new Diff:

My usage is 10-15 HPDE track days per year at an advanced-intermediate pace plus ~10K easy street miles. No drag racing. Which "stage" should I be looking at?

Can I send you my old diff and have the same case returned (assuming it passes your inspection)? The reason I ask is a couple of my fins broke off and I tigged them back on.

Any chance you guys will be at Corvettes at Carlise show?

Give me a call at the office and we'll configure you a custom differential to suit your application quite well and sorry, we'll not be at Carlisle. 260.407.5455

Two more weeks left in this sale folks, so don't miss out.

BTW- A special thanks to our Canadian customer from Montreal, Quebec who drove down 14+ hours last week to have one of our high performance differentials installed into his Corvette and he will soon be a new DTE Powertrain Product Dealer in his area! That will make 3 dealer locations throughout Canada we'll have to serve our Canadian customers' needs.

Thank you for the business, it was very nice meeting you and enjoy your new-found performance!

Phil

All emails answered.

Last week for this sale folks, so don't miss out. Also, we'll be closed next Monday, (Sept. 7th- Labor Day) so any orders that are called in during our "off-time" before or at that date which are captured on our answering service at the shop, will be honored for the special sale prices.

Happy Labor Day folks!

Thank you Ken for the business and have a nice Holiday!

Just a quick note and reminder before I leave the office tonight for a much needed 3-day break with my family..

I wanted to chime in to let everyone know that our differential sale ends on Monday, so any orders that are phoned-in/captured by our answering service while we're away will be honored 100% and Jenny will be in contact with you on Tuesday to confirm everything.

Thanks once again to all those who have phoned or emailed us with questions and also to those that placed orders, as we appreciate it. Have a nice Labor Day Holiday Weekend folks and we'll be back in the office on Tuesday!

Phil
