Default TAC help needed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was driving my car the other day and it started spitting and sputtering, and thought to my self that I've got a burnt plug wire or something like that. I changed all of the wires out with new ones and the car started up and ran fine for all of about 10 minutes when the dreaded reduced engine power and check engine lights came on. Ran the diagnostic and got P1518C (TAC) Module Serial Data Circuit. Tried to reset but it would not reset. Checked the underhood fuse box and found #17 fuse burnt. Replaced the fuse tried resetting the DTC and starting the car, but blew another fuse. I've obviously got a short somewhere in the circuit, but not familiar with the wiring on the C5 Vette. I've got my front fender off the car and Ecu and TAC unit out to try and check grounds, but doesn't seem to be the problem. Anybody out there got any info on where to start the wiring run down? HELP! this is my only car and it's left me stranded for two solid weeks.

Make sure your TAC module is clean and dry. Maybe you got come moisture in it ???

The power is direct or it could be one of the other components that run off of the same circuit causing the fuse to blow.
