Last weekend I put about 700 miles on the car. For about the last 50 miles, the windshield wipers decided to show me they worked every minute or so. They eventually stayed on permanently. I realized this didn't look cool , since it was not raining, so I stopped and pulled the fuse. I will diagnose the problem this weekend. I think the wiper switch may be defective. I wondered if anyone else here has experienced this phenomenon. This is a 2004 Z06 with just 16,000 miles on it. I will let you all know what I find. I guess it is better to have them constantly working than never working at all.

Speed Safely, Don.
Could also be the motor. Have you, do you , check the drain udders to make sure they are not clogged. Check this post.
Disconnect the switch connector, replace the fuse. If the wipers are still always on it's most likely the motor or motor circuit. If they are off, it's most likely the switch or switch circuit.
Thanks for the tip on the wiper motor problem. I will check that first. I had not been aware of the udder fix. I learn something new every time I use this forum. I will keep you posted. Thanks again, Don.
You most likley have clogged cowl drain udders. The water in the well is shorting out the control module and causing it to loose its mind. If you catch it early enough, you may be able to save it. I recommend disassembling it and spraying the module out with WD-40.
Today I removed the WSW Module and cleaned out the drains. I found a lot of debris in there. I removed the module cover, sprayed a little WD-40 inside it, and resealed the case. The module was actually damp and it has not been in the rain since last week. After reassembly I took the car for a ride and everything is back to normal now.
Thanks for all the helful hints with this problem. You guys are great!
Saved me a bunch of time and money.
