Ipod Adaptor help please...
This is my last resort...I installed a Simple brand Ipod Adaptor to my C5 and all the connections seem to be working. It's a radio type adaptor and I tune it into a station for it to work...Well the Ipod works, however, I'm getting an underlying and faint high pitch tone with the music. I went to 2 different car audio shops and one gave me an in-line noise filter..Didn't help...The other told me to relocate my ground to the back of the radio which I did...didn't help...I then moved the ground to the frame itself..sanded down the black paint...no help...I can't get rid of the high pitched noise...What do I do????

Just a shot in the dark here, but are you running any external accessory device using your cigrette lighter? These can sometimes create RFI and cause a high pitch noise to come through your speakers. If you have something hooked up there, try disconnecting and see if the noise goes away.
