I have everything pulled apart on my 01 to find an oil leak and fix my a/c lines and noticed the pass side boot had a hole in it.. In putting it all back together I had the rack hanging out the pass side as like they do on ls1howto.com. When I put it back in the hanger I noticed the boot was full of fluid and was coming out the hole. I dont think it could have ended up in there from the other fittings dripping in but I am not positive
How likely is it for a seal (maybe bushing), the one hidden by the boot on the ends of the rack to be bad and leak and is there a way to change this seal as it doesnt look like it wants to come out the end. Everything feels tight and theres no play anywhere
