Ordering c6z schocks for the rear of my c5 coupe, but dealer doesn't know if the z is fe3 or fe4. Which is it?

I certainly wouldn't just install rears. You have to install all 4.
10313647 – Z06 Front Shocks
25819268 – Z06 Rear Shocks
Both sets of front and rear shocks (4) 243.70
For the kit on our website, use part number c6z06shocks under Chevrolet make.

Can I use those part #s to order them at a dealer?

Sure you can, if you want to pay 35% more for them.
Besides, Gene is a great vendor who goes out of his way to help out..

Though, he didn't have the courtesy to answer my simple question.
Picked up the full set from my dealer today for $250 and I'm almost done installing them. I hate waiting.

Could have been possible that I didn't return to the forum until tonight. Your dealer can't tell the difference between FE3 or FE4 and I don't have any courtesy.
My phone number is posted. You could have called. / of story.

I would rather wait and buy from Gene and know I was dealing with someone I could trust and maybe spend a little more money than deal with a know nothing dealer.

How much better are the C6Z shocks over the 02 C5Z shocks? (I plan on taking my car to Streets of Willow a lot)

Not willing to argue with you.
The dealer didn't know the difference
but I did and have since installed them. Worlds better ride and I recommend everyone do this and order them from Gene if you want to save $$$. I was impatient and ended up paying more from a dealer.

We all get the impatient bug. Sometimes instant gratification is better than saving a dollar. I've been there
