My brother is looking to supercharge his 98 LS1 and he is unsure as to which one to go with. He wants one that is durable, produces good power, and has relatively low maintenance. I know a little about supercharges and prochargers such as the different brands and how they work but not enough to help him with an informative decision. What have you guys had the most success with? Thanks

You can read up in the FI section and see that virtually everyone has realized success with their supercharger of choice. They all do the same thing; however, a roots style will provide more low end torque on demand...where a centrifugal comes on strong at 3k rpm. Rather than let the forum make the choice how you will spend your money(or in this case your brother's) give one of the experts a call:
-East Coast Superchargers
-A&A Corvette, whom with my personal experience has been awesome.
-LG Motorsports

I always liked the PD style for street driving. You can just mash the pedal at 2500 RPMS and see max boost instantly. Tons of low end torque. All that said, when I go FI in the next year, I will not get one because I want to keep the stock hood.
