Running warmer than usual

I'd check under the car for debris ( small dogs, small children
and other things like plastic bags etc) that might be blocking the radiator. These cars are bottom breathers and collect everything on the road. Also check the color of the coolant in the surge tank. If it is muddy brown you need to have the coolant flushed. If still reddish in color I would check to see when the last time it was changed. The coolant is good for up to 5 years and 100,000 miles WHICH EVER COMES FIRST.I'd also check to see if the fans are running when the engine temp reaches 226 ideling. If not you need to find out why ( fuse, relay, bad fan, etc??)
All good info.above! 225 is high if you're moving.
C5 Cooling Fans Operation
The low speed cooling fan is commanded on when the coolant temperature reaches 108°C (226°F). It is turned off if the coolant temperature lowers to 104°C (219°F). The high speed cooling fan is commanded on when the coolant temperature reaches 113°C (235°F). It is turned off if the coolant temperature lowers to 108°C (226°F). When the A/C is on and the coolant temperature reaches 85°C (185°F), the low speed cooling fan will be turned on at vehicle speeds less than 56 kPh (35 mph).
When you have "cooling problems" always check the radiator for foreign material (grass, leaves, plastic bags, etc.), since these C5s are bottom breathers, they act as road vacuum cleaners
