Default Texas speed and performance

Is anyone running the texas speed and performance heads and cam? If so what were the gains and which one did you go with? Also I was wondering how much more power would I get with going with the AFR 205cc and one of there cams. The car is a 03 zo6. Thanks guys

You should post your goals. What do you plan on doing with the car? Some cams will make great top end power, but driveability will suffer some even with a great tuner. Are you looking for tons of top end power or good driveability with an increase in midrange and top end power?? Texas Speed has a good reputation. I recommend calling them to see what you can get that meets your goals and then ask how much power gain you can expect from it.

best give them a call and get their advice... they know their parts and specs best as do most of the supporting vendors... I recently modded my engine, and got their advice as to the best cam to go with the heads etc I wanted to use and the supplier was dead on, actually we got 5 hp more ....with stock driveablilty

My old setup was the TSP stg 1 LS6 heads/MS3 114LSA/FAST 90/90 in my '02 C5 Coupe (470rwhp). I ran my buddies '04 C5Z with AFR 205/G5X3 114lsa/FAST 90/90 combo (470 rwhp)and to 160 my front bumper was at his rear bumper from a 60 to 160mph run... But the Z had the gearing and weight advantage. IMHO, I'd go with TSP heads instead of spending the extra $1k for AFR heads.
