Here is the latest on the rear hatch problem on my 03 coupe. GM called yesterday to tell me that they made a deal with the dealership to repair the hatch. They say they will do it for 50% off the normal price. My argument is still this. They give any other GM car or truck a 72 month panel warranty. Just because Corvettes are fiberglass and do not rust we are not covered. That is plain BS. They are still making out even if I pay half. We all know that markup on parts alone is out of this world. I told them I will be contacting them in the next few days to speak to an arbitrator. I still say to everyone check your coupe rear hatch. There was a TSB on this problem back in 2004. Even the dealer and Chevy admit that this is the problem that is showing up now. Then just fix it. Please PM me if you are having this problem or have had it repaired for free or paid out of pocket.
