Engine shut off

After install of Corvette Concepts Air intake system, I began to notice the engine lag when I shifted to 3rd at low RMP. Subsequently, when I go from high speed especially, I can depress the clutch pedal and when coasting to a stop I notice that the rpm's drop below the customary 800rpm to maybe 500 or so and many times the engine will shut off. I did notice this past week that the rpms would bounce 6 or 7 times between 500+ and 800+ and then seem to even out at around 800rpm.
Is the ductwork tightly re-connected, no gaps?
Is the air temp sensor fully inserted into the hole?
Is the connector attached properly?
If you installed an oiled-type air filter, did you OVER-oil it? (The extra oil gets on the MAF wires and needs to be wiped CAREFULLY off)
Did you damage the fine wires in the MAF body when you removed/ replaced the ducting? :seeya

The guys of Corvette Concepts installed the Airintake at the NCRS. When I began to encounter a problem, I checked the duct work from the throttle body forward. I discovered at least one ban that was not tightened which did allow the filter to separate from the cobra head bridge. So I took everything off and reinstalled the system correctly and made certain that the connector was attached properly without gaps. (upon initial inspection the clip had not been fully depressed). The system uses the K&N air filter and I have not retreated the filter.
I am not exactly sure what you mean Is the air temp sensor fully inserted into the hole?
