Default Cold-Air Intake

Anyone have an opinion on HP gain for CAI? What is the best one? I have a 2004 C5 w/re-mapped ECU (Chuck of Westchester Corvette) and 2.73 gears (auto).

Thanks in advance!

No one can tell you an exact number for a HP gain with a CAI. Every company has what they claim as a HP gain, but it is so variable, that the numbers quoted are just a general range .
I have an 03 A4 coupe with 3.42 ZO6 gears, Vararam intake, 160 degree stat, ZO6 TI exhaust, and a Chuck Cow tune, like you. The car runs great, and the SOTP increase is very noticeable. Dont' get too caught up in that numbers game. Just drive the car and enjoy it.

A 3.42 rear, and a Vararam will put a smile on your face though.

I posted a thread asking what the best intake would be.

although many write about the fit/finish of the vararam and bitch about the 3 hour installation, no other brand can post up the improvements in 1/4 time and trap speed improvement that Vararam owners do over and over again.
