Default Question about adjusting TICK Master rod length

So Im trying to adjust my Tick MC rod, since where I have the rod now, my clutch engages with barely an inch or less pedal travel. So as you shorten the MC rod in effect you're bringing the pedal closer to the floor in its resting position?? Im turing the eyelet to shorten it, so you have to push the pedal down so the eyelet and pedal stud line up. Is this right in adjusting the pedal to get the clutch to engage closer to the floor? Kinda confused if Im going the right direction on this.

Well after playin around with it, I have come to the conclusion that the pedal will always engage earlier than the stock MC did. All the adjustment rod does is pull the clutch pedal closer to the floor giving the pedal a shorter travel. Whether I have the pedal closer to the floor or closer to its stock height (same as brake pedal) it still engages early with just a bit of travel for slipping on the way back up. Just gonna have to get used to it I guess.

Found a good setting now. Not bad. I think I'll leave it now!
