Layman's ( over simplified) explanation
When you start up the system performs a self diagnosis.
If during that diagnosis it encounters wheel slip it needs to determine it it is actual wheel slip or a mechanical issue. It goes into a longer diagnosis period and displays the active handling warming up message.
Happens to me regularly at auto-x events.
