Default C5 6-spd transmission needed
Need to replace 6-spd transmission in 02 C5 coupe.

Any recommendations of a good source?

Usually about $1,000 for a used one on eBay.

I just replaced the trans in my 03 Z with an RPM transmission. They were super people to deal with, and offer many good upgrades to the stock MN6. I went with the stage v for about $2500 exhange, had the trans in less than a week, it shifts great, and all is right with the world again...... They have an advertisement on the left sidebar of this site.

If you have the money an RPM upgrade is the way to go. Thats my plan when its time. Good luck.

this sounds like a good deal.......I got a great used trans for $600 a few years ago, and having a spare to rebuild is a bonus!
