Default piston to valve clearance

ls1 block, 02' ls6 z06 heads milled to 59cc. Im running a comp cams 273xer cam. 224/230/581/588 on a 114lsa. Question arises is there a concern with piston to valve clearance with this combination? We are going to tear this block down this weekend...will degree the cam . Valve reliefs in the pistons I know could correct problem but any info? Is it that big of a concern with this middle of the road cam and 59cc heads? Thanx again

I would definately check it with that cam. Just moving the event cycles can cause problems. It will only take minutes to check it as you tear it down. I learned the hard way on this subject when I R&R'd a cam and thought I'd be OK. You have modified you heads also. I vote check it.
