Pulled the pass side exhaust gasket . NO sign of leaking. So while I'm waiting around I decide to check something else.....

I had all 8 of these out yesterday checked them all. Used dielectric grease when I re-installed the wires.

They were all light brown and exactly the same in color.

Should have inspected the insulator better.

Think maybe this is the problem? Came out of #8

On the way to the parts house.

Thanks for posting up. I thought I checked the plugs 2x, but missed this one somehow. I now know the difference between cylinders 3 and 5.

Your post made me look again.

Dang i gotta check mine, when i installed headers, install plugs and wires at the same time, and i get back fire a lot, u know whne u decelerate coming to stop, it back fires and popping sound.

Is that popping sound u referring to or it really backfires without revving gas?

Mine pops only when iam decelerating gas..

Mine popped just sitting there idling. It first idled smooth then 1 pop 2 pop then back to back.

I haven't road tested it yet.

From what I've read popping on decel is normal.
