Default Removing column lock bypass question

I have a 2004 Z06 that I installed the column lock bypass when I bought the car just to be safe. Now I need to have my steering wheel position sensor replaced and got to thinking. Does the bypass need to be removed before I take the car to the dealer to have the sensor replaced? I did a search and had no luck. Thanks for any help.

I also installed the CLB when I first purchased my 2001 convertible. About two years afterwards, I had to have the steering wheel position sensor replaced. I did not remove the CLB and had no problem with the dealer doing the job under warranty.

Good to know. I was worried about it since the column has to come out. Thanks for your help.
