Default Need window tip adjustment info quick

Hi all,
I have my driver door inside panel off and am trying to fix my rattling window. Found one of the problems, but what is the 6-point external socket adjustment screw for on the part that holds the window to the raise/lower mechanism? One of the problems I have corrected is the cables which are on the pulleys(in plastic sleeve) move and hit window mech when raising/lowering. I just secured them with a zip-tie to the door, that problem solved.

Go to his Corvette site and then to the How to's. It's kinda hard to describe that socket. I have this craftsman set that has all types of socket sand just happened to have this one in there. The site above may be able to help you some. Good luck!

It is supposed to be a #6 inverted Torx socket, at least according to the previously mentioned web page. Hope this helps.

Upstops.

You should have a tiestrap already on the regulator cables that attaches to the door inner panel. The tiestrap on the regulator has a carrot type fastener that is pushed into a hole in the door inner panel.
