Default cooling fans

I have a 2001 base car. Can the radiator fans be programmed to come on at a lower temp? If they can, how? What does burping the radiator mean, and how do I do it? Thank you Herb

Burping means getting the air out of the system (like burping a baby)-some cars have a valve you open for this-no need on a C5. The fans can be reporgrammed with a GM Tech II or any one of several handhel programmers (generally in the $2-300 dollar range).

Diablo Predator will reset fan temps and a lot of other things;

But, even on sale for $369, that's a lot of money to reset fans.
