Breaking wheel studs

Breaking wheel studs
I have I-forged rims on my Z and have broke 3 different wheel studs since I have had the rims on my car. Any ideas to why this may be happening?

how are you breaking them? ie tightening, driving, hard launches?

Are the wheels made specifically for the GM bolt pattern (5x120.6mm)?

Give Randy a call at Doug Rippie Motorsports (forum sponsor) and get some of their 90,000 psi studs. I used them when I put the big brakes on my vert.

The only time I have seen broken studs is road racing or over torquing.

I wouldn't think the offset would cause breaking studs but if the wheels aren't hubcentric I'd think you would have a problem.
