I'm real suspicious that the car might have a baby cam in it or something or possibly a head swap. Most people don't waste the money to tune a stock car, so as you said, it must have been modded at some point.
What a nice discovery to make!
I know for a fact it has 853s on it and a LS1 intake along with stock '00 injectors. If the heads have been p/p'd is a different story.
Oh well, its a fun car and I'll get to the track and get the numbers that really matter.
i'm glad I figured out it had a tune, I have a NX kit at the house waiting to go on and it would have been bad news bears doing that and thinking it had stock timing!!!!

That's the right attitude. There still might be some internal mod done to the engine but I have read about people doing a tune here with just a Vararam and a cat back so it's not that unusual.
I had my 01 6spd coupe with a K&N filter, Corsa Pace Car Tiger Sharks, and the stock tune, dyno tested last year and was told that it put down 309 RWHP and that was a really good number for what it had. The type/brand dyno has a lot to do with the numbers you will get!
