Default blowing fuse #32/shifter install

After I installed the c6z shifter, i noticed my hatch button didnt work. I do remember trying the fuel door and it worked at least the one time. Now neither works.

Fuse #32 in the passenger footwell was blown, when I tried to put in a new fuse, it blew as soon as it touched.

Did I hook something up wrong on install or is there a ground under there i missed?

Time to pull it back apart and inspect. You either pinch a wire resulting in it grounding out, or damaged the connector on the fuel door, or traction control switch resulting in a short.

Are you sure you connected the hatch release button?
It is an easy job to check since you don't have to remove anything else.
The gas door release it tricky to get connected since it is under the console, so there is a good chance it was not fully engaged either, allowing it to come loose and possibly short out.
Have you checked to see what else is on the #32 circuit?

Winner! The wire to the gas door was pinched under the console, all fixed now
