Just like everyone else has said, the drilled rotors do nothing for performance. If you're looking for a nice quality long lasting Rotor, I would recommend Power Slot Cyro-Treated Rotors (Slotted). They resist warping and cracking while lasting 2-3 times longer than a traditional Rotor.
Go to www.raceshopper.com those guys are great. you have to email them for pricing but they are quick to respond. They machine rotors to order. I have a set of their drilled and slotted that I have had for 3 years and I drag race the car and have had no problems. Think I paid $230 shipped for fronts. They look better than the baer's IMO.
I would avoid drilled rotors; they not only take away braking surface area, but add nothing in return.
The new CTS-V and Viper ACR both come from the factory with slotted-only rotors. I have PowerSlots, which are cadmium-plated, not simply zinc-washed. Please, don't cheapen out on rotors. They are one of the most important components on our C5s.
One question, how much did you spend on rotors for your daily driver. I payed $50 each for the ones on mine. They have been working fine for 2 years now. Another question....I don't race my vette, I usually drive it the same as I would drive any other car. So what is the difference.
In my opinion warped rotors are often the result of improper lug nut installation not overheating, at least not on the street. I've watched installers over torque lugs unevenly on several occasions, resulting in a warped and pulsating brake pedal.
On another note, alot of very high end cars come with drilled rotors, even the newer ZO6 models as well as AMG Mercedes so I doubt that newer drilled rotors which are stress relieved are prone to the problems that occured with early editions. And I also doubt that a competent company such as Baer would sell rotors that proved to be defective. I've had a set of Baer Eradispeed rotors on my '01 for several years and driven the 'hard on brakes' Hwy 1 to Monterey loop numerous times without any issues. In fact I would suggest that drilled rotors actually run cooler than just slotted or plain without any noticable reduction in braking. Just my 2 cents worth!
All I know is that my car stops way better than it did before the rotors and the drilled holes aren't for braking power as much as cooler operating temps, my rotors don't get nearly as hot which is better for wheel bearings among other things (i'm sure we all know what those cost to replace), so there is more to it than "bling".

what he said. if you warped rotors (especially more than once), any rotors - chinese $45 ones or fancy 2-piece $1000 setup, you likely have a problem elsewhere and throwing more money at the rotors will not solve it.
There is no such thing a warped rotors, what happens is the hot rotor inpegnates unevenly cause an uneven coeficeint of friction on the face of the rotor. I went through 3 rear rotors before changing them for the front rotors from a C6. I now have amazing brakes on the C5.
The conventional parking brake is lost forever, however there are parking brake calipers like on the Vipers and Ferrari's, that are adapted.
For about $200 a side.
