Sounds like you F45 is hosed. If you don't want to pay exhorbitant replacement costs for one or more shocks, consider disabling F45 and going with aftermarket shocks like Bilsteins or the C6 Z51 or Z06 shocks.

If you do have to replace and decide to switch, you can have a dealer or someone with a Tech II unit shut the F45 system off instead of having to buy the sims. My buddy paid a dealer $25 to have it done but others have had to pay more. Still - a lot cheaper than sims.

There's a specific sequence you must follow to do it properly so post before for instructions if you decide to.

Now that’s a reasonable price and from a dealer no less.

I do enough bitching about dealers charging exorbitant prices – even if their “fix” doesn’t actually correct the problem.

So……….. I’m taking this VERY rare opportunity to praise an unnamed dealer.

I think I have to go and lie down now – I can’t handle the strain.
