TESTIMONIAL From F-45 (CRAP) to RACE CAR NIMBLE
I have these shocks on my 02 ZO6. Their fantastic!

these will enable you to use any shocks and not get the speed limitation you are having.
Good luck
Definitely worth a try,the resistors are like a buck each, just a bit cheaper than the "simulators"
When Replacing Magnetic Shocks:
You DO NOT need anything turned off, removed, retuned or modified. You need 4 - 10 ohm 10 watt wire wound resistors ( from radio shack) to solder in to the wires that go to the top of the old F45 shocks. Solder them in , zip tie them to the chassis out of the way and install the new shocks That's it.Guaranteed.

I put the simulators on when I put on Z06 shocks on my 97 and no codes and much better handling; put Z06 sway bars on at the same time.

Installed coilovers last year and added resistors. Car ran great. After a wreck at the track last month had the car at the frame shop. told the guy car must be kept inside because windows were removed (for racing) and hatch was busted in wreck. when I got the car back from frame shop (doing the body work myself) the Active handling computer
(left rear corner of car) was submerged in 2" of water (left out in rain). I now have the "shock inopeative - 80MPH max" message.
Probably the computer. How do I diagnose the problem? Is there a Service Shop in NJ that can easily delete the whole Active Handling Module? Last year I took the car to several dealers and they couldnt figure out how to do it.
I have another issue with the active handling and was wondering if it could be related to the replacement of the steering rack in any way? There is a sensor on the rack. When the rack was installed the wheel didnt line up correctly and had to be clocked to straighten it out. we're revisiting that to make sure it is correct. Could there be a problem with the replacement rack and/or sensor and could it be related to the handling problem?

Please read and post the DTCs that you have and that will allow us to guide you thru the other repairs.
