I am changing the clutch fluid on my 2000 C5. When we did my dads 08 Z06 we could see the flluid circulating in the little resovoir but we dont see this happening and the fluids clear after just one change. This doesnt seem right the with 15000 miles and a first change. Can anyone give me guidence as to whats going on here???
I would just drive it a few weeks or months, and replace it again.
Mine was not immediately dark after the first time I changed it either.
Unless you are doing a lot of high RPM shifting, it will stay clean for several months.
There werent any real symptoms it just seemed as though if it was to simple to change with 15k miles on the car... My dads Z with 2400 was more difficult to change. We decied to just drive it a lil and see how it looks afterwards... It does see high rpm shifts but definitly not to excessive amounts.
